WHAT, HOW & WHY
WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC?
Chiropractic is a natural therapy that uses different techniques to help improve the alignment of the body’s musculoskeletal system. This helps to improve the function of our spine, joints, muscles and nervous system.
HOW CHIROPRACTIC WORKS?
Chiropractic promotes healing and recovery through the use of gentle adjustments which help to reduce pressure, pain or stiffness in the body. Chiropractic utilises our body and its ability to heal which is how chiropractic may help a wide range of people and conditions, from an athlete recovering from a sports injury, work related complaints to an older person wanting to get the best from life.
As one of the main treatments in Chiropractic is joint adjustment or manipulation. At Total Chiropractic we tailor all our treatments to each individual patients needs and if you have a preference for a particular style or technique, please let us know.
WHY CHOOSE CHIROPRACTIC?
If you have back pain or stiffness this is great time to see a chiropractor. Sometimes it is a pain with a certain activity like sitting, standing or exercising. It might just be the feeling that your back is “out” or tight. These are all great reasons to choose to see a chiropractor.
Other things that Chiropractic has proven to be an effective treatment for include:
Headaches, Low Back Pain, Mid and Upper Back Pain, Sports Injuries, Neck Complaints, Numbness and Tingling, Scoliosis, Shoulder, Arm and Wrist conditions, Leg symptoms (Sciatica), Joint Stiffness, Muscle Spasms, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Dizziness, Low Energy, Stress or Fibromyalgia.
What is a Chiropractor?

They also provide advice and exercise prescription and help in many other areas of sport and health and fitness.
